Red Letter Days Pamper Treat for Two – Crewe Hall (AD-GIFTED)

Red Letter Days Pamper Treat for Two at Crewe Hall
*We were kindly gifted the Red Letter Days Pamper Treat for Two to include in my Mother's Day Gift Guide. I wasn't asked to write this post but we had such a lovely time I wanted to share it!

Friday the 18th of March 2019 was International Women’s day, and I spent the afternoon relaxing at The Spa at Crewe Hall on a Red Letter Days Pamper Treat for Two. I haven’t been on a spa day since long before I was pregnant, and in actual fact, since I have had Hugo I haven’t had much of a break at all! Life has been filled with breastfeeding, silent reflux, suspected CMPA and a whole host of worries that come along with a baby. Now that Hugo is nine months and much more settled into a routine I feel comfortable to leave him for the afternoon and indulge in some time for me.

My friend and I headed out to Crewe Hall which is part of The Q Hotels Group. Although it is quite local to us, I have never been before. The Spa at Crewe Hall is located around the back of the beautiful main Crewe Hall. The grounds are all well kept, and it has a real prestigious feel. There was ample parking right near the spa entrance, so no worrying about finding a space or having to walk miles. We filled out some paperwork were given robes, towels and spa slippers and off we went to grab our lunch.

Red Letter Days Pamper Treat for Two

The Red Letter Days Pamper Treat for Two includes a 50-minute treatment, two-course lunch and full use of the spa facilities. The robes and towels were also included. We headed off to the Brasserie for lunch and although it was well signposted it did feel like a bit of a treck and all of the corridors seemed to look the same.

Lunch at The Brasserie

The Brasserie was lovely and had a friendly atmosphere, and although it was busy, we didn’t feel rushed or crowded. Lunch was a self-service buffet featuring an array of salad, bread and quiches. There was also a hot food selection of ratatouille, five bean casserole, sea bream and dauphinoise potatoes. We had a variety of salad and bread first and then went for a plate of hot food. Everything was delicious and full of flavour and even though it was a self-service buffet food wasn’t left out to go stodgy, and it appeared that food was continually coming out fresh.

There was also a whole selection of desserts, but we were so full from the main course that we passed on the sweet treats, but everything looked delicious! Having lunch included made this Red Letter Days Pamper Treat a perfect package!

Treatments

After lunch, we headed to the treatment rooms for our 50-minute treatment. The treatment rooms were lovely and had a lovely calming ambience. There was a choice of six treatments in total which was ample choice. I picked the Fit for Business Back Ritual with ESPA. This treatment included a back cleanse, exfoliation, back mask and deep tissue massage followed by a leg and foot massage. I was left feeling completely and fully relaxed. I haven’t been giving myself much self-care since having Hugo, and it has left me with a bit of an ‘empty cup’ as they say and this indulgent hour was just what I needed.

The Spa at Crewe Hall

After my treatment, I was led into a relaxing room with soft music and loungers for relaxing. There was fresh lemon water and magazines to read, and it was the perfect place to take five after a relaxing treatment. Unfortunately, the room is quite small and despite signs saying it was a quiet space and noise was to be kept to a minimum there was a large group that were all talking together quite loudly. They weren’t trying to be disruptive, but because the room was so small, it was hard to relax. It wasn’t a huge dampener though because after a drink I headed to the spa facilities.

The Spa at Crewe Hall

The Spa at Crewe Hall has a small pool, jacuzzi, sauna, steam room, ice fountain and experience shower. Both the sauna and steam room were a good size, and despite the spa being quite busy in general, they were both empty which was nice. Unfortunately the jacuzzi was out of action; however I was made aware of this before booking, but I would definitely like to go back and enjoy the jacuzzi too.

We had use of the spa facilities all day, and you could also book additional treatments on top if you would like. I was really impressed with the staff and facilities, and the treatment was lovely. I will definitely be visiting again.

The Red Letter Days Pamper Treat for Two is currently priced at £119 (was £198) and is available for redemption at different Q Hotels across the country Monday – Friday.
