Christmas time is all about celebration and feeling festive. We rarely get to entertain as a family. We previously lived in quite a small house and we just didn’t have the room but this year since we have moved and now have space we are looking forward to entertaining in style with my brand-new coupe glasses from Lolita and my Elderflower Prosecco Fizz Cocktails!
Lolita
I previously featured two gorgeous stemless glasses from Lolita in my Gin Lovers Gift Guide. This was my first introduction to Lolita, and I was beyond impressed. Each glass from Lolita is hand painted meaning that no two are ever the same!
The beautiful and limited availability coupe glasses are made from artisan blown glass and hand painted with accents of metallic paint and sparkle to really give it that celebratory edge. These glasses are perfect for entertaining, putting on display or just brightening up an everyday tipple.
The Lolita Coupe glasses come in four different styles:
Pink Lady: A gorgeous pastel pink with rose detail.
Lavender Lemonade: Beautiful lilac colouring that complements the bright yellow lemon detailing.
Eternite: A darker colouring with a bronze/gold accent.
Bee’s Knees: Honeycomb details with a gorgeous hand-painted bee.
My Thoughts
Each glass is dainty and elegant perfect for a Summer soiree or a festive Christmas party! I plan on serving up my favourite Elderflower Prosecco Fizz cocktails in them this Christmas and New Year when we have visitors, and I just know they will be a talking point. I’m really impressed with the quality, and I just love that each glass has been hand painted with such care and they are each unique in their own right. They make wonderful gifts, and when I’m not using them they take pride of place in my cabinet for everyone to admire!
Elderflower Prosecco Fizz Cocktails
If you want to entertain in style this holiday season and you can pick up your very own Lolita Coupe glasses from the Lolita website each glass is £18.00 each and perfect for holding a cocktail, champagne or a good old-fashioned gin!
If you want to recreate my Elderflower Prosecco Fizz Cocktails here is the recipe:
Makes 8
Ingredients:
1/2 A Cut Lemon
50g of Fresh Mint Leaves
100ml Elderflower Cordial
1 Bottle of Chilled Prosecco
Method:
- Take the half lemon and squeeze the juice into the elderflower cordial.
- Take half of the mint leaves, bruise gently by rolling with a rolling pin and add to the cordial, lemon mix.
- Place the mix in the fridge to chill along with the glasses for at least 20 minutes but longer if possible.
- Pour some cordial into the bottom of each glass and top with the chilled Prosecco.
- Optional: Garnish with some mint and sugar the rim of the glass to finish.
Why not swap the mint and lemon out for pomegranate seeds? Or for an alcohol-free option use sparkling water instead of prosecco.
