Skin Care
My skin care needed a shake up so I have been trying out Sudocrem Skin Care Cream. Find out my thoughts here!
I’ve always felt that skin care is really important. Prevention is far better than any cure and if you can look after your skin when it is younger and healthy you wont have anywhere near as many problems as you get older. Skin care products are a complete minefield. There are so many products on the market for all different price ranges and finding a product that works can be HARD. I have always ‘invested’ in my skin care. So I do tend to gravitate toward more expensive brands. Sometimes I feel you get what you pay for. If I totted up what I spend on my facial skin care alone it would give my husband a nervous breakdown!! It all boils down to the fact that I haven’t been able to find cheaper skin care products that add any value to my skin care routine. Until now!
Over the last few weeks I have been using Sudocrem Skin Care Cream as a facial moisturiser, spot cream, face mask and makeup primer. Yes you read that right I have been using Sudocrem Skin Care Cream for ALL OF THESE JOBS!
Every Mum has used Sudocrem at some point. I have never used it as part of my routine and I would never have thought to but seriously this has to be the best beauty hack ever!
Facial Moisturiser
I use this twice daily after cleansing in place of my usual facial moisturiser. I love the fact that it’s not greasy or oily like some moisturisers are. It’s a thicker cream and you can feel it working and my skin stays hydrated and soft for the whole day. A little goes a long way even on really dry patches!
Spot Cream
Lately I have been struggling with some spots that just need to do one! I have tried everything but they just don’t want to shift! I have started to incorporate the Sudocrem Skin Care Cream as a spot treatment and the results have been incredible.
Face Mask
If your skin is in need of a bit of a boost or some extra TLC then using the Sudocrem Skin Care Cream as a face mask is exactly what you need!!
Makeup Primer
I’ve spent crazy amounts of money on makeup primers in the past but I used the Sudocrem Skin Care Cream in place of my most trusted primer and it completely blew anything else I’ve ever tried out of the water!! It provides a great base for makeup that makes it glide on and makes it stay put!
Packaging
Sudocrem is famous for its grey tub packaging but fear not you don’t need to dip into your babies cream because the lovely people at Sudocrem have thought about this and brought out a handy 30g tube! It’s perfect for chucking in your handbag or keeping in your desk draw at work. I have used mine every single day and there is still loads left because you really don’t need much.
Sudocrem & Psoriasis
As a Psoriasis sufferer I can suffer with severe dry skin on my face which is irritating, unsightly and has a huge impact on my self-esteem. Using this Sudocrem Skin Care Cream on my psoriasis patches has helped keep flare ups at bay and reduce the redness and dry patches phenomenally!!
Overall Thoughts
To find one product that does so much is rare. If I was to try this product in complete bare packaging I would assume it was a high-end specialist product I could never justify splurging on! I genuinely had low expectations but was completely surprised at how versatile and impressive the product is. Sudocrem is a brand everyone has heard of and one we know we can trust considering we put it on our babies skin.It makes sense to use it ourselves! I’m annoyed I didn’t think to try this product before now!
