If you’ve ever felt like your body wasn’t exactly your best friend, trust me, you’re not alone. I’ve been there – uncomfortable in my own skin and shying away from photographs with my children. I’m a proud mum of two wonderful boys, and being the superhero they deserve is my ultimate mission in life. I want to be around for a long time, and I want to feel good in my body. That meant it was time to prioritise my health and embark on a journey to learn how to lose body fat fast. No more hiding under towels at the pool – it’s time to be the joyful mum who’s part of the picture, not just behind the camera.

Cooking up a storm in the kitchen has been my new favourite thing for the past few years. I’ve transformed some of my favourite dishes into healthier versions that still taste incredible but don’t have the huge calorific price tag, not to mention the money-saving cost if we are talking takeaway food! I would hate feeling inclined to go for a run every day and would end up just giving up.

But let’s be honest; eating out and tracking that can be a struggle on the plan. So earlier this year, I embraced calorie counting, which gives me flexibility even on restaurant outings, all while learning how to lose body fat fast.

They track more than just a weight number which is particularly useful when focusing on fat loss. They also integrate with Apple Health and my Apple Watch, which just fits in well with my lifestyle. If you stick to your plan and show up for yourself every day, you will start to see some impressive results. If you give up at the first hurdle, you will never see the results. Setting mini-goals has been my secret weapon this time around. With each milestone, I celebrate – a fresh hairdo or a little treat like getting my nails done.
